My goals are to continue to promote Texas as the beautiful state that it is; where we are free to work and play as we see fit, practice our religion without government oversight, protect Pro-Life, and make choices that enrich our lives and that of our families.
Special areas of interest that I have are in our Military Veterans Affairs, Care for Senior Citizens, protecting Public Education from government overreach, and protecting First Responders. It is also a goal of mine to create a special interest group designed for Military Spouses.
I am fully committed to Texas and have begun working on two bills to introduce to our Legislators once elected into the House of Representatives. I am prepared to hit the ground running.
Gilbert and I have been married for 45 years. Together we have two daughters Angela of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Amy of Clovis, New Mexico. And very soon through God's blessings and the Texas Courts we will have an adopted daughter, Alison from Lubbock, Texas. We have been blessed with three grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Gilbert served in the U.S. Air Force before retiring as a Military Veteran. In January 2022 our youngest granddaughter will be enlisting in the U.S. Navy as will our soon to be adopted daughter in February of 2022.
After Gilbert's retirement from the military, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service before taking a second retirement. He is now currently working at Community Homecare in Clovis, New Mexico.
Through Gods will, Gilbert and I have no plans to permanently retire and will work to serve our communities.
